Signaturecare's Copperfield ER - 2020 Scholarship deadline soon

The application deadline for SignatureCare Emergency Center’s 2020 spring semester Health and Medical Field Scholarship in the U.S., is closing soon.

Apply before January 2, 2020, and you could win the $1,000 scholarship designed to help U.S. college students in the medical or health related fields cover partial tuition and other expenses during the 2020 spring semester.

Signaturecare Emergency Center awards this scholarship biannually (spring and fall semesters) to students who meet certain criteria.

To qualify, each applicant must be enrolled full time at an accredited college or university, and maintain a minimum 3.0 GPA. College freshmen without GPA scores are qualified to apply as well – just indicate that in your application.

Applicants are also required to submit a 700-word essay and a 30-second video addressing the question; : “Who or what inspired you to enter the medical field?”

SignatureCare is looking for students who have a passion for healthcare.

“We want to encourage these young men and women and help them succeed. This is one of the reasons for our scholarship award,” said Dr. Kanti Bansal, one of the managing partners of Houston, TX based SignatureCare Emergency Center.

“To qualify, each applicant must be enrolled full time at an accredited college or university, and maintain a minimum 3.0 GPA. College freshmen without GPA scores are qualified to apply as well – just indicate that in your application.”

Although the scholarship fund is paid directly to the college or university on behalf of the student, SignatureCare places no limit on what the award can be used for.

“The award can be used to cover part of the tuition, room and board, cost of books, or to help with any other expenses. Wherever the need is greatest, students can use the award for it,” Dr. Bansal added.

The application for the spring semester opened on September 25, 2019, and all applications received on or before January 2, 2020, will be considered.
