Allergies are out of Control

Allergies are common for many people. Most Americans suffer from allergic attacks every year.

With all of the things we come into contact with on a daily basis, it is no wonder we live in an allergy-filled society. However, there is a possibility that your allergies are out of control and need to be put back in check.

Here are the signs that your allergies have over-run your life and are out of control.

How to Tell If Your Allergies Are Out of Control

You Give the Allergy Salute

If you have to ensure that every vacuum you purchase has a HEPA filter, or you plan your day according to the pollen count, your allergies are running your life.

There is a chance that your doctor has prescribed a daily allergy medication, but is it really controlling your symptoms? If not, there is a very high chance that you do the allergy salute frequently.

You know, the gesture where you swipe the tip of your itchy, runny nose. If you make this gesture more often than you wave at people, it is time to look into other options for controlling your allergies.

Your Eyes Mimic a Raccoon Constantly

Those dark raccoon circles under your eyes can be another sign that your allergies are out of control.

You can determine that allergies are the cause if they are accompanied by itchy, watery eyes, sneezing, and a horribly runny nose. If your allergies are causing your eyes to do this, and your current allergy medication isn’t preventing it, talk to your doctor about changing your allergy treatment plan.

If you are a perpetual allergic attack sufferer, see your primary care physician (PCP) or go to the closest emergency room today. Your doctor could decide to prescribe medication or advise you on what to do but it is important that you get it under control as soon as possible.
