4 Places to Get Fit in Montrose!
Getting and staying fit is a way of life for many folks, and something others aspire to. We’re lucky to have so many great facilities right on the doorstep, all with one aim in mind: Helping you look after yourself. Here are a few of them:
Inner Me Studios
You’ll never be stuck for a class or a fun way to get in shape at Inner Me Studios. And if you get bored with one form of exercise, there’s always another to jazz things up a bit.
ME classes are for anyone, any size and any shape. Geared to develop strength and tone to core stabilization muscles, classes are designed so everyone can reach their full potential no matter where they’re starting from. And in case you’re wondering, ME stands for Motion and Energy.
Choose from any in the range, divided between Cardio, Dance and Flexibility. In the cardio section is Plyometric, mixing stretching and strengthening drills interspersed with a few challenging cardio bursts. There’s also Urban Kickboxing for a total body workout, Kickboxing Fusion, and Indoor Bootcamp.
Fancy something a little more dance orientated? How about Belly Dancing, Chair Dancing, Hip Hop or Pole? Or, you could choose to build flexibility with HipHop Yoga/Piyolet or advanced stretching and contortion. It sounds challenging, but you can start from scratch and build up from there.
Find Inner Me on Richmond Avenue between Montrose and the Highway 59. They’re just a block from the downtown Fiesta and the Sears building.
Timberline Fitness Studio
From personal training to Pilates, Spinning, and Yoga classes, right through to nutrition counseling and massage, Timberline Fitness Studio takes pride in knowing every client personally. For that reason they don’t issue membership cards, which is a novelty in itself.

Equally personalized are the small Pilates classes, with no more than seven participants exercising in specially equipped areas.
Even the locker rooms are a touch above, with individual showers and hair, body and facial products provided. They also provide the towels, so all you need take along is a fresh set of clothes for after your workout.
You’ll find Timberline Fitness Studio on Montrose Boulevard, between West University, River Oaks, and The Heights.

This small, boutique gym is ideal for anyone who wants a quiet workout. Membership numbers are capped so it’s never overcrowded, and the showers include small individual changing areas for private convenience. All the products you need are included for a refreshing conclusion to your fitness sessions, including towels.
