SignatureCare Emergency Center in Killeen, TX is first to be accredited by the U.S. military to provide services to patients with active military insurance plans, other ER locations to follow soon.

Houston, TX based SignatureCare Emergency Center is proud to announce that its Killeen, TX emergency center has been accredited by the U.S. government to provide services to participants with active military medical insurance participants.

This is great news for military families in that area.

The company also announced that it is working with authorities to accredit the remaining fifteen emergency centers throughout Texas.

“With this accreditation, these military families can now walk into our Killeen ER without prior appointments and be seen by a board-certified physician in less than 10 minutes.”

“This has been a long journey, but we are proud to have received this accreditation. It is difficult to receive accreditation from the U.S. military,” said Dr. Aaron Braun, DO, one of the Managing Directors of SignatureCare Emergency Center.

“Being accredited allows us to provide quality 24-hour emergency medical services to military families in Killeen, TX,” he added.

Dr. Braun said that before this accreditation, military families in Killeen, Texas had to either pay, out of pocket, the full cost to receive ER services at SignatureCare Emergency Center or be forced to wait endlessly for service in area hospital-based emergency rooms.

“With this accreditation, these military families can now walk into our Killeen ER without prior appointments and be seen by a board-certified physician in less than 10 minutes,” he added.

Dr. Braun confirmed that the company is working with the U.S. government on the accreditation process for the remaining ER locations.
